About the Tool

The AyurTerm Mapper is a research-grade tool designed to bridge the gap between modern medical terminology and classical Ayurvedic concepts. It provides a searchable database of correlations, complete with confidence levels, classical references, and modern literature to aid researchers, students, and practitioners in integrative medicine.

How to Use

  • Search: Use the search bar above to instantly filter the database by a modern disease term (e.g., "Anemia").
  • Explore: Click any card in the "Full Database Index" to open a popup with detailed information.
  • Filter: Use the filter panel (or button on mobile) to narrow results by confidence level or specific Ayurvedic terms.
  • Favorite: Click the heart icon on any card to save it to your favorites. Use the "Show Favorites" toggle in the filter panel to see your saved list.
  • Compare: Click the checkbox on 2 or 3 cards, then click the "Compare" button to see a side-by-side comparison.
  • Cite: Use the "Methods Citation Template" provided for each correlation to easily cite your mapping methodology in research papers.
  • Customize: Use the "Upload Map" / "Download Map" buttons in the header to load your own JSON database or save the current one.
