Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a qualified Ayurvedic doctor to contribute?

Not strictly. While we highly encourage submissions from BAMS practitioners and researchers, we also welcome well-researched, evidence-based content from Ayurveda students, educators, and allied health professionals.

How long does the editorial review process take?

Our editorial team typically reviews submissions within 2 to 4 business days. We will notify you via email regarding approval, requested revisions, or if the topic isn't a fit for our current publication calendar.

What citation style should I use for references?

For research and clinical articles, we prefer standard academic citation formats such as APA or Vancouver. For classical texts, please clearly reference the Samhita, Sthana, Adhyaya, and Shloka number (e.g., Charaka Samhita, Sutra Sthana 1/53).

Can I republish my article elsewhere?

Articles published on Amidha Ayurveda should remain exclusive to our platform to maintain SEO integrity and avoid duplicate content penalties. Exceptions for personal academic repositories can be discussed.

Can I update my article later?

Yes. We believe in keeping research up-to-date. You can contact our editorial team anytime to request revisions or append new findings to your published piece.
